Thinking Caps has a long history of working with students with learning differences. We understand that the learning process for every student is unique and strive to build on each student’s personal strengths to ensure success in academics. We use a variety of teaching styles and multi-sensory approaches to enhance each student’s learning experience and meet the needs of our families.
Instructors who specialize in providing support for students with special needs generally have a background in psychology, social work, or special education, and are carefully selected for the Thinking Caps team. These instructors are experienced in working with diverse types of learners and are very sensitive and responsive to students with learning differences. As with all TC instructors, they are trained in our Connect the DOTS Program and student-specific teaching methodologies. An Academic Director oversees and provides instructors with guidance and support.
